"

I joined the BHLC board because I believe the greatest lever for improving outcomes for mental health consumers is the quality of the people walking alongside them on the road to recovery. When behavioral health professionals are well-trained, supported, and equipped, that investment ripples directly into the lives of the people they serve. Every skill built and every worker who stays in this field strengthens the foundation of a care system that Oregon’s most vulnerable populations depend on. I’m honored to help shape a learning ecosystem that makes that workforce stronger, more sustainable, and more compassionate.

"

I am passionate about serving on the BHLC Board because, as GOBHI’s Chief HR and Marketing Officer and a member of the Eastern Oregon Behavioral Health Workforce Development Consortium, I bring firsthand experience in workforce development and a commitment to strengthening Oregon’s behavioral health system. I hope to contribute strategic insight and collaborative leadership to support a sustainable, equitable workforce.

I joined the BHLC board to stand alongside others who believe in healing, equity, and community. For me, it’s about lifting rural voices, building trust, and making sure compassion guides the systems we create together.

As a professor, I am passionate about supporting behavioral health training and workforce development that maximizes care outcomes.
